Rich competed in various tax law competitions around the world from New York City to the KU Leuven International and European Tax Moot Court Competition in Leuven, Belgium, where he represented the U.S.A.
Richard “Rich” Mills is a Gainesville, Florida native and a Triple Gator. While earning his Bachelor of Arts in Criminology with a Minor in Business Administration from the University of Florida, Rich was an active member in the Criminology and Law Honor Society and the Virgil Hawkins Pre-Law Society. After completing his undergraduate degree, Rich earned his J.D. at the University of Florida Fredric G. Levin College of Law where he After being sworn in to the Florida Bar, Rich decided to master his craft in tax law by attending the nation’s number three tax law program, UF Law’s Graduate Tax Program. There Rich would earn his Masters of Law (LL.M.) in Taxation in the Spring of 2018. Always staying informed about changes in law and becoming well versed in tax law and estate planning, Rich is a member of multiple organizations including: - Tax Section of the Florida Bar

Rich enjoys coaching his son’s T-ball teams and teaching his son new sports. Being a lifelong Gator, Rich regularly attends Florida football and basketball games with his son. As a father, Rich understands how important it is to provide for one’s family and to protect one’s assets and estate.
